How the Adoption Process Works

At Libby & Mace's Place Rescue, we're on a mission to find loving forever homes for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, sugar gliders, and birds.

To start your journey towards adoption, please complete our Adoption Application form online. Once submitted, our team will review your application and reach out if we feel like you'd be a good fit.

Adopters must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid government-issued ID.

A home visit by our dedicated adoption coordinators is mandatory before adoption.

Adoption fees, as listed on the application form, are due at the beginning of the trial period.

Libby & Mace's Place reserves the right to decline any adoption application.

Please apply only if you're prepared to adopt, as we cannot hold animals, allowing us to rescue more pets from euthanasia lists.

Our team of volunteers works tirelessly, so please allow up to 72 hours for a response. Repeated emails and incomplete applications may lead to longer processing times.
